Feedbacks are given to parents regarding the child’s progress, strengths, weaknesses, and talents. The parents are highly encouraged to send their children regularly to school, resulting in 100% attendance at BAWS.
Plantation
Tree Plantation has become vital to rescue planet Earth from pollution and balancing the temperature. Every year, with the help of the horticulture department, we promote plantation activities in our project areas. During this year we have planted more than 3000 saplings of panchayat office premises and community land in Karandighi block of Uttar Dinajpur district. Apart from the community-level plantation activities, we have provided fruit-bearing and vegetable seeds and saplings to the beneficiaries of our project villages under Karandighi block to grow in their backyard to promote plantation activities and enhance nutritional intake.
Health & Nutrition
Our health is everything, yet 250 people in Karandighi block (West Bengal) can’t afford or don’t have access to basic health care. We believe good health care is everyone’s right. Society makes qualified health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live in the lounge and grow stronger. In this context, BAWS focuses on Health for all and on other matters to ensure quality health care with equal access in the community.
